Other recent highlights include: a Music Toronto recital with pianist Peter Tiefenbach, Four Last Songs with the Orchestra Toronto, Poulenc’s Gloria, Mesiah,Carmina Burana,and Creation with Toronto Choral Society, Margaret Trudeau in Trudeau: Long Path, Shining March for the World Stage Festival, Granada Girl in Ainadamar with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and at the Tanglewood Music Feastival, Ariane in R. Murray Schafer’s opera The Enchanted Forest, Papagena in Die Zauberflöte with Opera Hamilton and Susanna in the Banff Festival’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro.
For her excellence in contemporary recital repertoire, Zorana was one of three finalists in the prestigious Eckhardt Gramatté Competition for Voice in 2005, and is the recipient of three Canada Council Arts Grants to professional musicians. Recently, she was praised for her “glowing voice” by the Boston Globe, and for her “vivacity and strong communicative instinct” by the Globe and Mail.
In 2014, she can be seen and heard in The Sultans of the Street at Young People's Theatre, in the Soundstreams presentation of Brian Current's opera, Airline Icarus, and in recital of the music of Kate Bush and Prince with the accordionist Joe Macerollo.
